Introduction
Coarse punctate vessels are not necessarily precancerous lesions. Coarse punctate vessels are pathological findings observed during colposcopy. If a patient has frequent sexual activity or multiple deliveries, the protective barrier function of the vagina may be compromised, increasing the likelihood of pathogen invasion. This can lead to persistent stimulation by pathogenic bacteria at the cervical site, resulting in local inflammatory reactions.

Coarse punctate vessels are a pathological finding observed during colposcopy. If a patient has frequent sexual activity or multiple deliveries, the protective barrier function of the vagina may be compromised, increasing the likelihood of pathogen invasion. This can lead to persistent stimulation by pathogenic bacteria at the cervical site, triggering local inflammatory reactions and resulting in abnormal vascular development with tortuous distribution, thereby causing coarse punctate vessels. Therefore, the presence of coarse punctate vessels does not necessarily indicate a precancerous condition. Patients are advised to visit a hospital for further examinations to obtain a definitive diagnosis and actively cooperate with medical treatment as recommended by their physician.

In daily life, attention should be paid to personal hygiene. The vaginal area should be cleaned with lukewarm water, and high-risk sexual behaviors should be avoided. It is also important to wear breathable underwear and maintain dryness and cleanliness of the genital area. Personal items should be used individually to promote recovery. Regarding diet, it is recommended to consume light and healthy foods, avoiding raw, cold, or irritating foods to reduce stimulation to the affected area.
