1. Trim nasal hair and clean the nasal cavity with warm saline solution.
2. Disinfect the skin around the nose, lay down a sterile drape, and administer local anesthesia using lidocaine.
3. Use a probe to locate the base of the nasal polyp.
4. Place a snare loop around the upper and posterior portions of the nasal polyp, then advance it upward toward the base of the polyp stalk.
5. Tighten the wire loop to remove the polyp. If multiple polyps are present, use the snare to remove them one by one from front to back until normal nasal airflow is restored.
