Introduction
A resting heart rate of around 110 beats per minute is generally not normal in adolescents. The normal resting heart rate for adolescents aged 11–14 is 60–105 beats per minute, and for those over 15 years old, it is 60–100 beats per minute. Therefore, a heart rate of approximately 110 beats per minute in adolescents is usually abnormal and indicates tachycardia, which may result from diseases causing damage to myocardial cells or impairing the cardiac conduction system.

A heart rate of around 110 beats per minute in adolescents is generally not normal, and increased vigilance is recommended.

Under normal circumstances, adolescents aged between 11 and 14 have a resting and awake heart rate ranging from 60 to 105 beats per minute. For those over 15 years old, the typical resting heart rate is between 60 and 100 beats per minute. Therefore, a heart rate of approximately 110 beats per minute in adolescents is usually abnormal and indicates tachycardia. This may result from conditions such as anemia or hyperthyroidism that damage myocardial cells, or from organic heart disease causing impairment in the cardiac conduction system.

Once such conditions occur, it is advisable to actively seek proper medical treatment under a doctor's guidance to improve the condition and prevent delays that could complicate treatment.
