Introduction
Late-stage symptoms of lung squamous cell carcinoma include chest pain, bone and joint pain, and liver discomfort. Invasion of cancer cells into the pleural cavity causes chest pain and difficulty breathing. Bone metastasis leads to bone pain in areas such as the ribs and spine. Damage to bones like the ulna and radius results in periosteal proliferation and clubbing of the fingers. When cancer spreads to the liver, it causes pain in the liver region, abdominal distension, nausea, and loss of appetite.

Advanced squamous cell lung cancer may present symptoms such as chest pain, bone and joint pain, liver discomfort, and others.

1. Chest Pain

When cancer cells invade the pleural cavity, patients may experience chest pain and difficulty breathing.

2. Bone Pain

After bone metastasis occurs, cancer can cause pain in bones such as the ribs and spine. When it damages areas like the ulna and radius, it may lead to periosteal proliferation and clubbing of the fingers.

3. Liver Discomfort

Early-stage liver metastasis often presents no obvious symptoms. As the disease progresses into the advanced stage, patients may develop pain in the liver area, abdominal distension, nausea, loss of appetite, and other related symptoms.

In addition, adrenal gland metastasis may result in diarrhea and increased skin pigmentation. Patients are advised to maintain confidence in treatment, follow medical guidance, extend survival time, and improve quality of life.
