How to determine if menstruation has completely finished
Menstrual cleanliness can be determined by observing vaginal bleeding, vaginal discharge, and through a gynecological internal examination. The specific analysis is as follows:
1. Vaginal Bleeding
If there is no longer any occasional vaginal bleeding or blood-tinged vaginal discharge (leukorrhea), this indicates that menstruation has completely finished.
2. Vaginal Discharge
The absence of coffee-colored or bloody discharge from the vagina, along with the presence of white discharge without a bloody odor, confirms that menstruation is over.
3. Gynecological Internal Examination
During a gynecological internal exam, the cervical os (opening of the cervix) shows no sign of bloody secretions.
In general, the above methods can be used to determine whether menstruation has ended. A normal menstrual period typically lasts 3–7 days. If menstruation persists beyond this duration or if bleeding continues for an abnormally long time, a visit to a gynecologist is recommended to identify the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment.
