Introduction
Heart discomfort can be relieved by massaging certain acupoints, such as the Zhongwan (CV12), Neiguan (PC6), and Laogong (PC8) points. The Zhongwan point is located at the midpoint of the line connecting the two nipples. The Neiguan point lies on the inner side of the forearm, about three finger-widths above the middle of the transverse wrist crease. The Laogong point is found at the center of the palm, where the tip of the middle finger rests when the hand is clenched into a fist. Massaging these acupoints can help alleviate heart discomfort.

Discomfort in the heart area can be relieved by massaging certain acupoints, such as the Zhongtan (CV17), Neiguan (PC6), and Laogong (PC8) points. Specific details are as follows:

1. Zhongtan (CV17)

The Zhongtan point is located at the midpoint between the two nipples on the human body. This acupoint has the effect of broadening the chest and regulating qi flow, helping to relieve symptoms such as chest tightness, chest pain, and irritability.

2. Neiguan (PC6)

The Neiguan point is located on the palm side of the forearm, about three finger-widths above the wrist crease, in the central depression between the tendons. This acupoint belongs to the Pericardium Meridian. When experiencing heart discomfort, massaging this point can provide a protective and soothing effect.

3. Laogong (PC8)

The Laogong point is located at the center of the palm, where the tip of the middle finger touches when making a fist. This acupoint is connected with the heart, and massaging it locally can help alleviate heart discomfort.

In addition to these common acupoints, others such as the Heart Shu (BL15) point may also be massaged for relief. However, acupoint massage only provides symptomatic relief. If heart discomfort occurs frequently, it is recommended to seek medical attention promptly. A doctor can evaluate your condition and develop an appropriate treatment plan based on your individual health needs.
