Introduction
In the days to weeks following tendon injury, the body initiates an inflammatory response, forming blood clots and fibrous tissue. Cellular repair begins within the first week after injury, with cells producing collagen to fill the damaged area. Over the following months, tendon repair continues as cells remodel the newly formed collagen, gradually strengthening the tendon's structure and function. After several months or even years of recovery, the tendon eventually returns to normal.

The healing process of tendons consists of four stages: inflammatory phase, repair phase, remodeling phase, and maturation phase. The details are as follows:

1. Inflammatory Phase

Within several days to weeks after tendon injury, the body initiates an inflammatory response, forming blood clots and fibrous tissue.

2. Repair Phase

Beginning in the first week after injury, cells start repairing the tendon by producing collagen to fill the damaged area, resulting in the formation of scar tissue.

3. Remodeling Phase

Over the following months of tendon repair, cells reorganize and remodel the newly formed collagen fibers, gradually improving the tendon's structure and function.

4. Maturation Phase

After several months or even years of recovery, once the tendon has regained normal function, it becomes stronger and more stable.

During the healing process, adequate rest is essential, along with a nutritionally balanced diet. If any discomfort occurs during this period, prompt medical attention is recommended.
