Introduction
In general, intravenous infusion is not an effective treatment for erosive gastritis. However, if the condition is in an acute exacerbation phase, intravenous infusion may be used to manage erosive gastritis. "Intravenous infusion" typically refers to administering treatment through a drip into the vein, whereas erosive gastritis—an inflammatory condition caused by bacterial invasion of the gastric mucosa—is usually treated with oral medications. Therefore, intravenous infusion is generally not considered a primary treatment for erosive gastritis.

In general, intravenous infusion (IV) is not used to treat erosive gastritis, but if the condition is in an acute phase, IV therapy can be effective. The specific analysis is as follows:

1. Not suitable for treatment

Intravenous infusion typically refers to treating a disease through drip administration into the vein. Erosive gastritis is usually an inflammatory condition caused by bacterial invasion of the gastric mucosa and generally requires oral medication for treatment. Therefore, IV infusion is generally not appropriate for treating erosive gastritis. Medications such as amoxicillin capsules or levofloxacin hydrochloride capsules may be taken orally as directed by a physician.

2. Suitable for treatment

If a patient's erosive gastritis is in an acute stage, making it impossible to take oral medications normally, and symptoms such as severe pain, vomiting, and diarrhea occur, intravenous infusion may help alleviate these symptoms and thus contribute to the treatment of erosive gastritis.

Patients diagnosed with erosive gastritis are advised to actively cooperate with medical treatment to avoid delays that could impair recovery. During treatment, a light and bland diet is recommended.
