Introduction
The baby bottle must be sterilized before each time preparing formula. Since the bottle is an instrument used for feeding infants, failure to sterilize it may lead to bacterial and viral growth, posing health risks to the baby. Bottle sterilization can be achieved through methods such as high-temperature sterilization, steam sterilization, or chemical disinfection. Safety and hygiene must be carefully maintained during the sterilization process to avoid harming the baby.

It is necessary to sterilize baby bottles before each formula preparation. Since bottles are feeding tools for infants, failure to sterilize them may lead to the growth of bacteria and viruses, posing a risk to the baby's health. Bottle sterilization can be achieved through high-temperature sterilization, steam sterilization, or chemical disinfection. Specific methods are as follows:

1. High-temperature sterilization

Place the bottle in boiling water and continue boiling for 5–10 minutes, then remove and allow it to air-dry. This method is simple and effective, but care must be taken regarding the bottle's material to prevent deformation or cracking.

2. Steam sterilization

Place the bottle in a steam sterilizer; sterilization time varies depending on the model. This method is suitable for most bottle materials and effectively kills bacteria and viruses.

3. Chemical disinfection

Use a dedicated bottle disinfectant solution. This method is convenient, but attention must be paid to the concentration and proper usage instructions to avoid harming the baby.

Regardless of the sterilization method used, sterilized bottles should be placed in a clean, well-ventilated area to dry naturally. Do not wipe them with a towel, as this may cause contamination. If bottles are not properly sterilized and the baby develops symptoms of illness, seek medical attention promptly.
