Introduction
After blood collection, it is important to avoid eating greasy and spicy foods, as well as drinking strong tea. This is mainly because these foods contain high levels of fat and are highly irritating; they should be avoided as much as possible after blood drawing to prevent interference with the recovery of hematopoietic function. Additionally, tea contains tannic acid, which is not easily absorbed and may impair the absorption of iron and proteins.

Generally, after blood collection, dietary restrictions are recommended to avoid oily foods, spicy foods, strong tea, etc. Specific analysis is as follows:

1. Oily foods

Avoid consuming oily foods such as roasted pork, pork belly, and pig trotters after blood drawing. These foods are high in fat, which may suppress the body's hematopoietic function, negatively affect health, and lead to elevated blood lipid levels.

2. Spicy foods

Spicy foods such as chili peppers, ginger, and garlic should not be consumed after blood collection, as they may irritate the puncture site and cause redness, swelling, or pain. Excessive consumption of spicy foods may also cause gastrointestinal discomfort, including bloating and heartburn.

3. Strong tea

Many types of tea contain high levels of tannic acid. This substance binds with iron in the body to form tannic acid iron, which is poorly absorbed, directly impairing the absorption of iron and proteins and reducing hemoglobin synthesis.

In addition to the above-mentioned foods, alcohol and coffee are also not recommended after blood drawing, as they may also directly affect hematopoietic function.
