Introduction
Wound dehiscence and non-healing after surgery are common complications, typically managed according to three conditions: superficial incision non-healing, skin non-healing, and complete layer separation. Specific analysis is as follows: if inadequate nutrition is received at the surgical wound site post-operation, resulting in insufficient nutritional support within the body, it may lead to delayed wound healing and consequently cause superficial incision non-healing.

Surgical wound dehiscence with non-healing is a common complication, typically managed according to three conditions: superficial incision non-healing, skin non-healing, and full-thickness dehiscence. Specific analyses are as follows:

1. Superficial Incision Non-Healing

If inadequate nutrition is received after surgery, resulting in insufficient nutritional support within the body, wound healing may be delayed, leading to failure of superficial incisions to heal and causing postoperative wound dehiscence. Superficial incisions generally do not require suturing and can be managed by keeping the incision clean and dry and preventing infection.

2. Skin Non-Healing

If the incision is deep, it may become invaded by external bacteria, potentially triggering an inflammatory response and subsequent wound infection, which leads to impaired skin healing. It is recommended that patients go to the hospital for wound cleaning and resuturing. When using tape for dressing, care should be taken not to wrap too tightly, so as not to impair blood circulation and wound healing.

3. Full-Thickness Dehiscence

If patients engage in strenuous activity during recovery, excessive pressure on the surgical site may cause full-thickness wound dehiscence. In such cases, patients require reoperation to resuture the wound or undergo other repair methods, such as autologous skin flap transplantation or artificial skin grafting.

Patients are advised to maintain a light diet during recovery, avoid spicy and irritating foods, refrain from strenuous activities, and pay attention to protecting the wound area.
