OGTT stands for oral glucose tolerance test. Rechecking the glucose tolerance test can assess the body's ability to regulate blood glucose, evaluate pancreatic function, and determine treatment effectiveness. During the period between drinking the glucose solution and completing blood glucose measurements, the patient should not eat or engage in strenuous physical activity, as these may affect the test results.
