Introduction
In general, bleeding during ovulation accompanied by mild pain in the lower right abdomen may be caused by excessive mental stress, endometritis, vaginitis, or cervical gland cysts, and requires targeted treatment. If there is excessive stress from daily study or work, it may lead to hormonal imbalance, particularly of estrogen, resulting in ovulation bleeding and pain in the lower right abdomen.
Generally, spotting during ovulation accompanied by mild pain in the lower right abdomen may be caused by excessive mental stress, endometritis, vaginitis, uterine polyps, or cervical gland cysts. Targeted treatments are required depending on the cause. Detailed analysis is as follows:
1. Excessive Mental Stress
If a person experiences significant stress from study or work in daily life, it may lead to hormonal imbalances—particularly in estrogen levels—resulting in ovulation bleeding and mild pain in the lower right abdomen. This is considered a normal physiological response. It is recommended to relieve stress through physical exercise and distraction techniques.
2. Endometritis
Endometritis may occur if uterine tissue was not completely removed after a miscarriage or dilation and curettage procedure. Inflammatory factors can irritate the uterus, leading to the aforementioned symptoms. 4. Uterine Polyps

If polyps are present, the release of the egg may cause blood vessels on the polyp surface to rupture, resulting in ovulatory bleeding. This bleeding may also trigger uterine contractions and abdominal pain, including pain in the lower right abdomen. 5. Cervical Gland Cyst
Cervical gland cysts are fluid-filled cysts formed by the retention of secretions from glands within the cervix. During ovulation, physiological changes occur in the cervical canal and cervical tissues, including increased glandular secretion. If cervical gland cysts are present, rupture of the cyst or surrounding blood vessels during ovulation may lead to ovulatory bleeding. This bleeding may be accompanied by pain in the lower right abdomen, as the right ovary is often the source of ovulation. Patients should visit a qualified hospital where surgical removal of the cyst may be performed.
