Treatment may include topical application of antiparasitic agents such as Lishiqing Baibu antiseptic liquid or 0.5% malathion lotion, under medical guidance.

Pubic lice infestation is a type of louse infection caused by the parasitism of pubic lice. When infected, pubic lice attach to the pubic hair and perianal body hair, repeatedly biting the nearby skin and causing intense itching. The disease is primarily transmitted through sexual contact. Infection may occur by accidentally contacting underwear or bedding infested with pubic lice, or through sexual intercourse with an infected individual. Treatment typically involves complete removal of pubic hair, along with topical medications such as Shiliqing Baibu antiseptic lotion, 0.5% malathion lotion, or 1% permethrin cream, used under medical supervision.
Patients are advised to abstain from sexual activity during treatment. Additionally, personal items such as underwear, bed sheets, and pillowcases should be boiled to ensure complete elimination of lice. In daily life, frequently changing and washing underwear and maintaining genital hygiene are recommended.
