Introduction
Hip pain after a collision may be caused by several factors, such as tendon strain, hip arthritis, hip synovitis, rheumatoid arthritis, or avascular necrosis of the femoral head, requiring symptomatic treatment. A direct impact to the hip can tear or strain the muscles or tendons surrounding the joint, leading to pain and discomfort. If the pain is severe, medications such as celecoxib capsules may be taken as directed by a physician.

Impact on the hip joint and pain during walking may be caused by several factors, such as tendon strain, hip arthritis, hip synovitis, rheumatic arthritis, or avascular necrosis of the femoral head. Symptomatic treatment is required. Specific analyses are as follows:

1. Tendon Strain

Impact to the hip area may cause tearing or strain of the muscles or tendons surrounding the hip, resulting in pain and discomfort. If the pain is severe, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as celecoxib capsules or etoricoxib tablets can be taken under medical guidance for inflammation reduction and pain relief.

2. Hip Arthritis

This condition is usually caused by long-term physical labor leading to uneven weight-bearing on the hip joint surface, resulting in degeneration of joint cartilage or changes in bone structure—an osteoarticular disease. Common symptoms include pain and swelling. Patients may take traditional Chinese medicine preparations such as Zhongtongan Capsules or Jintiange Capsules under a doctor's guidance for treatment.

3. Hip Synovitis

Hip synovitis refers to inflammation of the synovial membrane around the hip joint, causing hip pain and discomfort. In such cases, patients may take medications like diclofenac sodium sustained-release capsules or nimesulide capsules under medical supervision to achieve anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

4. Rheumatic Arthritis

Infection with Group A streptococcus can trigger cross-immune reactions that damage joints and lead to hip pain. Rheumatic arthritis primarily affects large joints and may be accompanied by symptoms such as redness, swelling, and tenderness. Treatment may include medications such as prednisone acetate tablets or methylprednisolone tablets, used according to medical advice.

5. Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head

This may occur when trauma to the hip joint interrupts blood supply to the femoral head, leading to its necrosis and causing the aforementioned symptoms. It is recommended to visit a reputable hospital and consider surgical treatments under a doctor’s care, such as bone grafting or artificial joint replacement surgery.

Patients experiencing the above symptoms should promptly seek timely evaluation and appropriate treatment at a qualified medical institution.
