Introduction
Pediatric moxibustion on the navel is a common traditional Chinese therapy used to regulate children's health. The duration and frequency of moxibustion should be determined according to the child's age and physical condition. If moxibustion is needed, it is recommended to visit a正规 medical institution and perform the treatment under the guidance of a qualified physician to avoid bodily harm caused by improper operation. Should any discomfort occur during treatment, prompt consultation with a doctor is advised.

Generally, pediatric moxibustion on the navel is a common traditional Chinese medical therapy used to regulate children's health. The specific procedure is as follows:

1. Prepare the necessary items, including a flour paste bowl, moxa wool, medicinal powder, lighter, and fenestrated drape.

2. Have the child lie flat, then place the fenestrated drape over the navel area, exposing the navel and surrounding skin.

3. Position the flour paste bowl over the opening of the drape, aligning the small hole at the bottom of the bowl with the navel.

4. Use a spoon to pour the medicinal powder into the hole so that it flows down onto the navel, filling the hole completely.

5. Light the moxa wool and place it on top of the flour paste bowl, allowing it to burn fully.

6. After the moxa wool extinguishes, leave the bowl in place for an additional 10–20 minutes to enhance the therapeutic effect.

7. Once the bowl has cooled, remove it and examine the treated area for any adverse reactions.

The duration and frequency of pediatric navel moxibustion should be determined according to the child’s age and condition. If moxibustion is needed, it is recommended to visit a正规 medical institution and perform the treatment under the guidance of a qualified physician to avoid bodily harm due to improper operation. Should any discomfort occur during treatment, consult a doctor promptly.
