Introduction
Lymphedema in the lower leg may be caused by congenital abnormalities, primary lymphedema, lymphatic vessel obstruction, deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities, heart disease, or other reasons. Some patients may have congenital structural abnormalities or underdevelopment of the lymphatic system, which can lead to lower leg lymphedema. Patients may take medications such as diosmin tablets or furosemide tablets under medical guidance for treatment.

Under normal circumstances, leg lymphedema may be caused by congenital abnormalities, primary lymphedema, lymphatic vessel obstruction, deep vein thrombosis in the lower limbs, heart disease, or other reasons, and requires symptomatic treatment. Specific analyses are as follows:

1. Congenital Abnormalities

In some patients, the lymphatic system may have congenital structural abnormalities or poor development, which can lead to leg lymphedema. Patients may take Diosmin tablets, Furosemide tablets, or similar medications under medical guidance.

2. Primary Lymphedema

Primary lymphedema is usually caused by abnormal development of lymphatic vessels. Clinically, most cases of leg lymphedema are induced by underdeveloped lymphatic vessels, while a small number result from abnormal proliferation and dilation of lymphatic vessels. Patients may take Torasemide capsules, Spironolactone tablets, or similar medications under medical supervision.

3. Lymphatic Vessel Obstruction

If lymphatic vessels become blocked by tumors, infections, surgery, or other diseases, lymph fluid cannot flow properly, potentially leading to leg lymphedema. Patients may take Qingre Sanjie Capsules, Pudilan Anti-inflammatory Tablets, or similar medications under medical guidance.

4. Deep Vein Thrombosis in the Lower Limbs

When blood clots in the lower limbs obstruct venous return, venous congestion occurs and vascular permeability increases, which may also lead to leg lymphedema. Patients may take Warfarin Sodium tablets, Rivaroxaban tablets, or similar medications under medical supervision.

5. Heart Disease

Heart disease can impair the heart's pumping function, obstruct venous return, elevate venous pressure, and subsequently cause fluid leakage into surrounding tissues, resulting in leg lymphedema. Patients may take Clopidogrel Hydrogen Sulfate tablets, Atorvastatin Calcium capsules, or similar medications under medical guidance.

If any of the above conditions occur, prompt consultation with a doctor is recommended to determine the underlying cause and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
