In general, insufficient sleep during the third trimester of pregnancy is normal. The specific reasons are as follows:

Poor sleep quality or reduced sleep duration in late pregnancy is quite common. This is primarily due to rapid fetal development, uterine enlargement, and other physical changes that may lead to inadequate sleep, which is considered a normal phenomenon; catching up on sleep when possible is sufficient. It is recommended to choose a comfortable sleeping position and use extra pillows for body support. Maintain a comfortable bedroom temperature and ensure good ventilation.
