Introduction
Baihui refers to the acupoint known as Baihui (GV20), one of the commonly used points on the Governor Vessel meridian. The acupuncture method typically employed for Baihui is horizontal needling. Acupuncture at this point is believed to have effects of clearing the mind, reviving consciousness, restoring yang, and preventing collapse. However, acupuncture at the Baihui point should only be performed under the guidance of a qualified professional. It should be noted that acupuncture is not recommended for pregnant women, women during menstruation, individuals who are excessively hungry or full, overly fatigued, or those with a tendency to bleed.
百会指的是百会穴，该穴位是督脉的常用腧穴之一，百会的针灸Method常用平刺法，针灸后有开窍醒脑、回阳固脱的功效。不过，针灸百会穴需要在专业人士指导下操作，具体操作如下：
1、Patient在Doctor的指导下取体位，如垂足坐位。
2、在Patient的后发际正中上7寸，约9指，两耳尖直上，头顶正中取穴。
3、DoctorExamination医用设备，同时对针体进行消毒处理。
4、常规消毒后，左手固定穴点或部位，右手持毫针，快速按压进针，缓慢捻转刺至一定深度。
5、左手仍固定有效点守气，右手反复捻转针体8～9次，再上下来回捻括针柄8～9次。
6、左手压闭针孔即可出针，出针后拿消毒棉球将穴位按压住，避免出血。
需注意，孕妇、经期妇女、过饥过饱、过度劳累、出血倾向的人群不宜针灸。
