In general, gastric antral erosion C2 refers to erosion and ulcers in the mucosa of the gastric antrum, with a relatively extensive lesion range and shallow depth, but already involving the submucosal layer.

C2 indicates the severity of erosion and ulceration and is a grading standard used during gastroscopy, divided into four levels: C0, C1, C2, and C3. A C2 classification signifies a relatively severe condition. Gastric antral erosion is a common stomach disorder, with typical symptoms including upper abdominal pain, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, etc. Erosion and ulcer formation are usually associated with factors such as excessive gastric acid secretion, damage to the gastric mucosa, and Helicobacter pylori infection. Excessive mental stress can affect the normal function of the gastrointestinal tract; therefore, it's important to reduce psychological stress and maintain a positive mood. For patients with more severe erosion or ulcers, surgical interventions under medical guidance may be necessary, such as endoscopic hemostasis or gastrectomy.

For gastric antral erosion at the C2 level, timely treatment is required to prevent further deterioration of the condition. Patients are advised to avoid consuming irritating foods such as spicy, greasy, sour, or sweet items, and should maintain a light and easily digestible diet.
