Introduction
Patients presenting with symptoms such as palpitations, chest tightness, shortness of breath, dizziness, tinnitus, or syncope; Patients suspected of having heart disease but showing no abnormalities on standard electrocardiogram (ECG), particularly those with transient arrhythmias or myocardial ischemia; Patients receiving pharmacotherapy for coronary artery disease or arrhythmias, for whom treatment efficacy assessment is required; Patients undergoing post-therapeutic monitoring following procedures such as coronary stent implantation or radiofrequency ablation.

Patients who routinely experience symptoms such as palpitations, chest tightness, shortness of breath, dizziness, tinnitus, or syncope should be suspected of having heart disease.

Patients requiring preoperative cardiac evaluation and individuals at high risk for sudden cardiac death are all recommended to undergo ambulatory electrocardiographic (Holter) monitoring.
