In general, patients with gallstones can consume foods such as pumpkin, black fungus (wood ear), carrots, oranges, and walnuts. They may also take medications under medical guidance, including ursodeoxycholic acid tablets, anti-inflammatory and cholagogue tablets, racemic anisodamine tablets, Dan Kang capsules, and chenodeoxycholic acid capsules. The details are as follows:

I. Foods

1. Pumpkin
Patients with gallstones should eat more pumpkin in daily life. Pumpkin is rich in dietary fiber, which can aid recovery to some extent.

2. Black Fungus (Wood Ear)
Black fungus contains abundant plant alkaloids that promote the secretion of various digestive glands, helping dissolve and expel gallstones.

3. Carrots
Carrots not only have benefits such as strengthening the spleen, improving digestion, regulating qi, resolving phlegm, clearing heat, and promoting urination, but also contain carotene and vitamin C, which possess antioxidant properties. Therefore, regularly consuming carrots may help prevent gallstone formation.

4. Oranges
Oranges are rich in vitamin C, which can inhibit the conversion of cholesterol in the liver and reduce cholesterol concentration in bile, thus providing some benefit in treating gallstones.

5. Walnuts
Walnuts are rich in linoleic acid, which helps suppress cholesterol formation in the body and lowers cholesterol levels in bile, thereby preventing gallstone formation. Additionally, walnuts contain various unsaturated fatty acids that improve bile composition and assist in eliminating existing stones.

II. Medications

1. Ursodeoxycholic Acid Tablets
The main function of ursodeoxycholic acid is to increase bile acid secretion and alter bile composition by reducing the content of cholesterol and cholesterol esters in bile. This helps gradually dissolve cholesterol in gallstones, achieving a therapeutic effect.

2. Anti-inflammatory and Cholagogue Tablets
These tablets have effects of clearing heat, removing dampness, and promoting bile flow. They can be used to relieve upper abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting caused by liver and gallbladder damp-heat, as well as alleviate abdominal and back pain associated with gallstones.

3. Racemic Anisodamine Tablets
Racemic anisodamine is an anticholinergic drug that relieves smooth muscle spasms caused by acetylcholine. It is used to treat gastrointestinal colic, biliary spasm, and organophosphorus poisoning. If a patient with gallstones experiences pain, this medication may be used under medical supervision to relieve discomfort.

4. Dan Kang Capsules
These capsules have functions of soothing the liver, promoting bile flow, clearing heat, and detoxifying. They can help relieve symptoms such as rib-side pain and bitter taste in the mouth due to liver qi stagnation, as well as alleviate right upper abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting caused by gallstones.

5. Chenodeoxycholic Acid Capsules
The main ingredient of chenodeoxycholic acid capsules is chenodeoxycholic acid. They are primarily used to treat cholesterol-type gallstones and fat diarrhea due to bile deficiency, and can also help prevent the formation of cholesterol gallstones.

In daily life, patients are advised to maintain a balanced diet, ensure adequate sleep, and avoid excessive fatigue.
