Introduction
In general, Buzhong Yiqi Pills should not be taken together with medications such as compound paracetamol and amantadine tablets, nifedipine sustained-release tablets, cefixime tablets, Yupingfeng granules, or Longdan Xiegan Pills. Medication use should follow medical advice. If any adverse physical reactions occur after taking medication, prompt medical attention is recommended. Note that patients who need to take Buzhong Yiqi Pills should do so under the guidance of a physician.

Generally, Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan should not be taken together with medications such as Compound Paracetamol and Amantadine Tablets, Nifedipine Sustained-Release Tablets, Cefixime Tablets, Yu Ping Feng Granules, or Long Dan Xie Gan Wan. Medication use should follow medical advice. If discomfort occurs after taking medication, prompt medical attention is recommended. Specific explanations are as follows:

1. Compound Paracetamol and Amantadine Tablets

Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan contains tonic herbs that have the effect of consolidating the exterior and arresting sweating. In contrast, Compound Paracetamol and Amantadine Tablets are used to treat colds, during which sweating is typically needed to expel pathogens. Since these two medications have opposing effects, taking Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan during a cold may worsen the condition.

2. Nifedipine Sustained-Release Tablets

Nifedipine Sustained-Release Tablets are antihypertensive drugs, while Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan has the function of uplifting yang and treating sinking qi. If patients take Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan concurrently with antihypertensive medication, it may lead to orthostatic hypotension, as well as symptoms such as dizziness and headache, which could impair recovery.

3. Cefixime Tablets

Cefixime Tablets belong to the antibiotic class. Taking antibiotics simultaneously with Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan may result in adverse interactions, potentially causing gastrointestinal discomfort such as diarrhea and abdominal pain, and may also reduce the therapeutic effectiveness of the drugs.

4. Yu Ping Feng Granules

Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan is a traditional Chinese medicine composed of honey-fried Astragalus, Codonopsis, honey-fried Licorice, Atractylodes, Angelica, Bupleurum, Cimicifuga, and Tangerine Peel. Yu Ping Feng Granules is another Chinese herbal formulation made from Astragalus, Atractylodes, and Saposhnikovia, known for its effects of tonifying qi, consolidating the exterior, and stopping sweating. Both are tonic herbal medicines; when taken together, their pharmacological effects may be intensified, increasing the risk of adverse reactions.

5. Long Dan Xie Gan Wan

Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan functions to tonify the spleen and benefit qi, making it a tonic Chinese medicine, whereas Long Dan Xie Gan Wan clears damp-heat and purges liver fire. These two formulas have opposing therapeutic actions. It is generally not advisable to combine Long Dan Xie Gan Wan with tonic Chinese medicines; therefore, concurrent use is not recommended.

Note: Patients considering the use of Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan should do so only under the guidance of a physician. Self-medication should be avoided to prevent adverse effects due to improper drug use.
