Introduction
If a woman is in good physical condition and has had adequate rest and recovery after an induced abortion, she may have limited contact with tap water on the seventh day. However, prolonged exposure to cold water or cold-water bathing should be avoided to prevent unnecessary physical stress. If her body remains weak or sensitive to cold stimuli, contact with tap water should continue to be avoided.

In general, on the seventh day after an abortion, if a woman has recovered well and tolerates cold stimuli adequately, she may have limited contact with tap water. However, if her body remains weak or she is sensitive to cold, exposure to tap water should continue to be avoided.

If a woman is in good physical condition and has had sufficient rest and recovery following the abortion, she may cautiously use tap water for activities such as handwashing or face washing by the seventh day. Nevertheless, prolonged exposure to cold water or cold-water bathing should be avoided to prevent unnecessary physical stress.

If a woman is in poor physical condition or her recovery after the abortion has been suboptimal, she should continue avoiding contact with tap water—especially cold water—on the seventh day. At this stage, her body may still be relatively weak and less tolerant of cold stimuli. Exposure to cold water could worsen symptoms such as abdominal pain and lower back pain, and may even impair uterine recovery.

After an abortion, women should rest for at least one week and avoid heavy physical labor or overexertion to ensure proper uterine recovery.
