Facial itching may be caused by dietary factors, seasonal changes, skin dehydration, urticaria, eczema, etc., and can be improved according to different situations. It is recommended to visit a hospital promptly and receive treatment under the guidance of a physician.

1. Dietary factors: Capsaicin, proteins in seafood, or alcohol may trigger allergic reactions in some individuals, leading to redness and itching of the facial skin. It is recommended to avoid known allergens such as spicy foods, seafood, or alcohol.

2. Seasonal changes: During seasonal transitions, decreased air humidity accelerates evaporation of skin moisture, damaging the skin barrier function and making it prone to dryness, flaking, and itching. It is recommended to use moisturizing creams or lotions to keep the skin hydrated. Products containing natural oils are preferable. Additionally, appropriately increasing indoor humidity is beneficial.

3. Skin dehydration: If one is in a dry environment or consumes insufficient water, the skin may become dry, leading to facial itching. Pay attention to drinking adequate water and using a humidifier in the room. Applying moisturizing lotions or creams with good hydrating properties can replenish skin moisture and alleviate discomfort.

4. Urticaria: Urticaria is associated with allergic reactions. Allergens stimulate the immune system to release inflammatory mediators such as histamine, causing blood vessel dilation and edema of the skin tissue, resulting in itchy red patches or papules. Symptoms may include skin redness, swelling, and a burning sensation. Patients may use medications such as ephedrine hydrochloride and diphenhydramine tablets, cetirizine hydrochloride tablets, or fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets under a doctor's guidance to relieve discomfort.

5. Eczema: Eczema may be influenced by endocrine factors, environmental factors, etc., which can cause abnormal immune reactions in the skin, stimulating surrounding tissues and manifesting as localized rashes, itching, and symptoms such as skin redness, papules, and blisters. Patients may follow medical advice to use calamine lotion, zinc oxide ointment, hydrocortisone butyrate cream, and other medications for treatment.

In daily life, it is recommended to use gentle facial cleansers and avoid excessive cleansing that may damage the skin barrier. Do not scratch the facial skin with your hands to prevent worsening symptoms or causing infections. Avoid using skincare products or cosmetics containing irritating ingredients. Reduce the intake of spicy, greasy, and irritating foods, and increase the consumption of fresh vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins.
