Introduction
Under normal circumstances, Ludou (Ludou, or Fructus Xanthii) can assist in the treatment of urticaria to some extent. Siegesbeckia pubescens (Xixiancao) is a commonly used traditional Chinese herb that has functions of dispelling wind-damp, promoting blood circulation, inducing diuresis, and regulating menstruation. In the treatment of urticaria, from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, urticaria is often associated with invasion of wind pathogen into the body. The wind-dispelling effect of Siegesbeckia pubescens helps to eliminate the wind pathogen and alleviate symptoms of urticaria.

Generally speaking, Lulutong can assist in the treatment of urticaria to some extent. If discomfort occurs, timely medical consultation is recommended. Detailed analysis is as follows:

Lulutong is a commonly used traditional Chinese herb known for its functions of expelling wind, promoting circulation of qi and blood, inducing diuresis, and regulating menstruation. In the treatment of urticaria, from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), urticaria is often associated with invasion of wind pathogen into the body. The wind-dispelling property of Lulutong helps eliminate the wind pathogen and alleviate symptoms of urticaria. Meanwhile, Lulutong's diuretic and blood circulation-promoting effects also help regulate the body's fluid metabolism, reducing the adverse effects of dampness accumulation on the skin, thereby assisting in the treatment of urticaria.

However, using Lulutong alone may have limited efficacy in treating urticaria. TCM treatment for urticaria often requires syndrome differentiation based on individual patient's symptoms and signs. Lulutong may be combined with other herbs, such as Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia root) and Jingjie (Schizonepeta herb), to enhance effects such as wind-dispelling, itch-relieving, heat-clearing, and dampness-resolving.

When using Lulutong to treat urticaria, it should be administered under the guidance of a qualified physician to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the treatment. Additionally, patients should maintain personal hygiene and avoid consuming foods that may trigger allergic reactions to prevent exacerbation of the condition.
