Introduction
Under normal circumstances, green tea may be incompatible with certain foods such as milk, beef, crab, wolfberry, and alcohol. However, these foods do not necessarily have to be avoided entirely when consuming green tea, and individual reactions may vary. It is recommended that individuals pay attention to their own responses in daily life, and if discomfort occurs after consumption, they should reduce intake or avoid consuming them together.

Generally, green tea may be incompatible with certain foods such as milk, beef, crab, wolfberry, and alcohol. Detailed explanations are as follows:

1. Milk

Consuming large amounts of green tea over a prolonged period while also ingesting high-calcium foods may lead to calcium loss. Additionally, tannic acid in green tea may combine with proteins in milk to form coagulated substances that are difficult to digest, affecting protein absorption.

2. Beef

Beef is a high-protein food. Tannic acid in green tea may easily combine with beef proteins to form coagulated substances that are difficult to digest, thus affecting protein absorption and potentially causing gastrointestinal discomfort.

3. Crab

Crab is rich in calcium. When consumed together with green tea, tannic acid in the tea may combine with calcium to form insoluble calcium compounds, which not only affect calcium absorption but may also cause indigestion, such as bloating and abdominal pain.

4. Wolfberry

Tannic acid in green tea has astringent and adsorptive properties that may bind to trace elements in wolfberry, forming substances that are difficult for the body to absorb. Therefore, green tea and wolfberry should not be consumed together.

5. Alcohol

Green tea contains high levels of caffeine, which, when combined with alcohol, can irritate the gastric mucosa and potentially lead to gastritis or even peptic ulcers. Therefore, it is not advisable to drink green tea while consuming alcohol in order to protect the gastric mucosa.

However, these foods are not necessarily absolutely incompatible with green tea, and individual reactions may vary. It is recommended that individuals pay attention to their own bodily responses in daily life. If discomfort occurs after consumption, intake should be reduced or the combination avoided.
