Introduction
Under normal circumstances, neurasthenia mainly manifests as mental excitability, easy mental fatigue, sleep disturbances, large emotional fluctuations, and physical discomfort. If experiencing any discomfort, timely medical consultation is recommended. Patients are advised to relax more in daily life, avoid excessive pressure, go out more to socialize with family and friends, and relieve their nervous condition.

Generally, neurasthenia mainly manifests as easy excitation, easy fatigue, sleep disturbances, large emotional fluctuations, and physical discomfort. If discomfort occurs, timely medical consultation is recommended. Detailed analysis is as follows:

1. Easy Excitation

Long-term mental stress, irregular lifestyle, and other factors keep the brain's nerves in a tense state for extended periods. This leads to dysfunction of the cerebral cortex's excitatory function, causing excessive reactions to weak external stimuli. Patients often experience increased associations and recollections, involuntary flights of imagination, difficulty concentrating, which affects normal thinking and work.

2. Easy Fatigue

Excessive mental work and insufficient sleep prevent the brain from adequate rest and recovery, resulting in excessive energy consumption and decreased function of nerve cells. Patients feel mental fogginess and slow reactions, get tired easily during study or work, experience memory decline, and show significantly reduced work efficiency. Even minor mental activities can cause exhaustion, requiring frequent rest.

3. Sleep Disturbances

Heavy psychological burdens and poor sleep habits interfere with normal sleep rhythms, keeping the brain active when it should be resting and making it difficult to enter a relaxed sleep state. Patients have difficulty falling asleep, toss and turn in bed for a long time before falling asleep, experience frequent dreams and easy awakenings during sleep, and feel unrefreshed after waking. Long-term sleep problems further worsen neurasthenia symptoms, creating a vicious cycle.

4. Large Emotional Fluctuations

Long-term mental tension and reduced psychological endurance affect the emotional regulation center, decreasing emotional stability and impairing emotional control. Patients commonly exhibit anxiety, depression, worry about the future, irritability, temper outbursts over minor issues, interpersonal conflicts, and unstable mood swings, severely impacting interpersonal relationships.

5. Physical Discomfort

Neurasthenia causes nervous system dysfunction, subsequently affecting various body systems and causing discomfort symptoms throughout the body. These include headaches, dizziness, muscle tension pain commonly found in the neck, shoulders, and lower back, as well as accompanying symptoms such as indigestion, abdominal distension, and palpitations. These physical symptoms further affect the patient's quality of life and increase psychological burdens.

Patients are advised to relax more in daily life, avoid excessive self-pressure, go out more for social interactions with family and friends, and alleviate nervous system states.
