Introduction
Lumbar spinal stenosis can be treated under CT guidance, as well as with the assistance of fluoroscopy (X-ray) and ultrasound. Compared with fluoroscopy and ultrasound, CT guidance provides more accurate and clearer imaging; however, it also involves a higher radiation dose than fluoroscopy or ultrasound. In addition to conventional corticosteroid injections, pulsed radiofrequency treatment of the nerves can also be performed.

During the procedure, in addition to administering conventional corticosteroid injections, we may also deliver pulsed radiofrequency treatment to the affected nerves to improve neurological function. The above information is for reference only; specific medications and treatment plans should be determined based on your physician’s in-person evaluation and guidance.
