Introduction
Cornus officinalis, as a traditional Chinese medicine, has functions including nourishing the liver and kidney, consolidating essence and reducing urine frequency, and stopping leukorrhea. If the liver nodule is benign and the patient's constitution is suitable, without obvious liver function abnormalities or drug allergy history, moderate use of Cornus officinalis may help improve overall health, especially for symptoms caused by liver and kidney deficiency, such as soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, dizziness, and tinnitus.

Patients with liver nodules can usually consume Cornus officinalis (Shanzhuyu), but it is recommended to follow medical advice regarding appropriate dosage. If any discomfort occurs, timely medical consultation is advised.

As a traditional Chinese herbal medicine, Cornus officinalis has functions such as nourishing the liver and kidneys, consolidating essence, reducing urination, and controlling leukorrhea. If the liver nodule is benign and the patient's physical condition is suitable, with no significant abnormalities in liver function or history of drug allergy, appropriate consumption of Cornus officinalis may help improve overall health. It may particularly assist in alleviating symptoms caused by liver and kidney deficiency, such as soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, dizziness, and tinnitus.

In treating liver nodules, a comprehensive evaluation of the patient's specific condition, underlying causes, and overall health status is necessary. Although Cornus officinalis has certain medicinal benefits, it cannot directly target or treat liver nodules. Furthermore, its use should be guided by a physician to ensure safety and efficacy.

Patients should avoid consuming raw or cold foods, alcoholic beverages, gas-producing foods, greasy foods, and high-sugar items, as these may irritate the gastrointestinal tract or increase the burden on the liver, which is unfavorable for the recovery from liver nodules. It is also recommended to consume more fresh fruits and vegetables.
