Introduction
Gallbladder polyps are exophytic lesions on the gallbladder wall. Most are benign, but some carry a risk of malignancy. Although Hei Shun Pian (Black Prepared Slices) can warm yang and dispel cold, it is mainly indicated for conditions such as cold-dampness or deficiency-cold according to TCM syndrome differentiation, rather than directly targeting the etiology of gallbladder polyps. For asymptomatic gallbladder polyps smaller than 1 cm, a watchful waiting approach is generally recommended.

Black Prepared Slices are generally not used to treat gallbladder polyps. Patients should seek timely medical attention at a hospital, and after clarifying their condition, choose appropriate treatment methods under a doctor's guidance.

Gallbladder polyps are protruding lesions on the gallbladder wall; most are benign but some carry a risk of malignancy. Although Black Prepared Slices have the effect of warming yang and dispersing cold, they are mainly applicable to conditions such as cold-dampness or deficiency-cold according to TCM syndrome differentiation, and are not directly targeting the etiology of gallbladder polyps. For asymptomatic gallbladder polyps smaller than 1 cm, a strategy of observation and follow-up is usually adopted; larger polyps or those causing symptoms may require treatment through surgical methods.

The primary effects of Black Prepared Slices focus on reinforcing fire to assist yang, relieving cold-induced pain, and promoting circulation to alleviate blockages and pain. In contrast, the treatment of gallbladder polyps mainly includes dietary management, medication, and surgery. The effects of Black Prepared Slices do not align with the therapeutic requirements for gallbladder polyps, therefore they should not be used for this condition. For certain adenomatous polyps, a polypectomy with gallbladder preservation may be performed. If the gallbladder polyp exceeds 1 cm, laparoscopic cholecystectomy or open cholecystectomy may be considered.

Patients should reduce cholesterol intake and avoid consuming high-cholesterol foods such as egg yolks, fatty meats, and animal offal. At the same time, they should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables rich in fiber, such as Chinese cabbage and apples, and use vegetable oils for cooking.
