Introduction
Shanmuxha (mountain alfalfa) should not be consumed with foods such as crab, pork liver, lemon, carrot, milk, etc. Shanmuxha should also not be taken with medications including sulfadiazine tablets, gentamicin sulfate sustained-release preparations, warfarin sodium tablets, irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide, and nifedipine sustained-release tablets. Before consuming any new food, especially if you have specific health conditions or are currently taking medications, it is necessary to consult your doctor first.

Amur Corktree Fruit (Shanmuxie) should not be consumed together with foods such as crab, pork liver, lemon, carrot, milk, and other similar items. Additionally, Amur Corktree Fruit should not be taken together with medications including Sulfadiazine Tablets, Gentamicin Sulfate Sustained-Release Tablets, Warfarin Sodium Tablets, Irbesartan Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets, Nifedipine Sustained-Release Tablets, and similar drugs. Prior to consuming any new food, especially when specific health conditions exist or medications are being taken, it is necessary to first consult a physician. Detailed information is as follows:

I. Foods

1. Crab: This food contains abundant proteins and calcium. However, the tannic acid present in Amur Corktree Fruit may degrade these nutrients, leading to reduced nutrient intake. Therefore, it is not recommended to consume Amur Corktree Fruit together with seafood.

2. Pork Liver: This food contains rich iron content, and components in Amur Corktree Fruit might react with iron to produce toxins that could negatively affect health. Therefore, consumption of Amur Corktree Fruit together with pork liver should be avoided.

3. Lemon: Lemon is rich in vitamin C; however, combining it with Amur Corktree Fruit may lead to degradation of vitamin C and may also produce precipitates, potentially causing indigestion.

4. Carrot: Carrots contain vitamin C-decomposing enzymes. When consumed together with Amur Corktree Fruit, these enzymes may degrade vitamin C in Amur Corktree Fruit, thereby reducing its nutritional value.

5. Milk: This food contains abundant proteins and calcium. Consuming it together with Amur Corktree Fruit may increase the burden on the gastrointestinal system, potentially causing indigestion or diarrhea.

II. Medications

1. Sulfadiazine Tablets: This medication is an antibacterial agent. Combining Amur Corktree Fruit with Sulfadiazine Tablets may lead to urinary tract damage and hematuria. Therefore, during intake of Amur Corktree Fruit, use of this medication should be avoided to prevent adverse reactions, and it is contraindicated in infants under two months of age.

2. Gentamicin Sulfate Sustained-Release Tablets: This medication is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. Combining Amur Corktree Fruit with Gentamicin Sulfate Sustained-Release Tablets may lead to adverse reactions. Therefore, to avoid drug interactions, it is recommended to avoid using this medication during intake of Amur Corktree Fruit.

3. Warfarin Sodium Tablets: This medication is used to prevent blood clotting. Components in Amur Corktree Fruit may affect the metabolism and absorption of anticoagulant drugs, thereby interfering with their efficacy. Therefore, during medication, if Amur Corktree Fruit is needed, a physician should be consulted first to ensure safety and effectiveness of the medication.

4. Irbesartan Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets: This medication is used to lower blood pressure for the treatment of hypertension. Components in Amur Corktree Fruit may interact with this medication, affecting its efficacy or increasing the risk of adverse reactions. Therefore, patients with hypertension should consult a physician before use.

5. Nifedipine Sustained-Release Tablets: This medication contains metal ions. Components in Amur Corktree Fruit may react with metal ions, reducing the medication's efficacy or causing adverse reactions. Therefore, during intake of medications containing metal ions, use of Amur Corktree Fruit should be avoided to prevent drug interactions, and it is contraindicated in children under 14 years of age.

Pregnant women, individuals with spleen and stomach deficiency-cold, infants, and other special populations should avoid consuming Amur Corktree Fruit to prevent adverse effects on the body. Additionally, when consuming Amur Corktree Fruit, attention should be paid to moderate intake to avoid excessive consumption that may lead to bodily discomfort.
