Introduction
Fu pian and Hei Shun pian are extremely hot in nature and can rapidly invigorate depleted yang qi. For conditions such as cold limbs, continuous cold sweats, and a faint, nearly imperceptible pulse caused by sudden collapse of yang qi, they can be combined with dried ginger and licorice to quickly restore yang qi, alleviate critical symptoms, and stabilize the foundation of life. For kidney-yang deficiency syndromes such as soreness and cold pain in the lower back and knees, impotence, premature ejaculation, and infertility due to cold uterus, Fu pian and Hei Shun pian can penetrate deeply into the kidney meridian.

Fupian Heishunpian usually refers to Heishunpian, which generally has functions including restoring yang to rescue from collapse, warming the kidneys to support yang, dispersing cold to relieve pain, warming and promoting circulation of the meridians, and replenishing yang energy.

  1. Restoring Yang to Rescue from Collapse: Heishunpian is extremely hot in nature and can rapidly invigorate weakened yang energy. For conditions caused by sudden loss of yang energy, such as cold limbs, continuous cold sweat, and faint pulse, it can be combined with dried ginger and甘草 (Gancao) to quickly restore yang energy, improve critical conditions, and stabilize the foundation of life.

  2. Warming the Kidneys to Support Yang: For issues such as soreness, coldness, and pain in the lower back and knees, impotence, premature ejaculation, and infertility due to cold uterus caused by kidney yang deficiency, Heishunpian can penetrate into the kidney meridian, warm and supplement kidney yang energy, enhance kidney function, improve reproductive and urinary functions, and increase physical vitality.

  3. Dispersing Cold to Relieve Pain: It has strong warming and dispersing properties that can expel internal cold pathogens. Whether it is joint pain caused by invasion of wind-cold-damp pathogens or cold abdominal pain caused by cold accumulation in the stomach, it can effectively provide relief, help unblock meridians, and promote smooth circulation of qi and blood.

  4. Warming and Promoting Circulation of Meridians: Heishunpian warms the meridians and improves symptoms such as limb numbness and cold hands and feet caused by cold stagnation and poor circulation of qi and blood. It promotes the circulation of qi and blood within the meridians, ensuring adequate warmth and nourishment to all parts of the body, thus restoring normal function.

  5. Replenishing Yang Energy: Heishunpian is suitable for various yang deficiency syndromes, such as abdominal pain with loose stools caused by insufficient spleen yang and palpitations or chest tightness caused by weak heart yang. By replenishing systemic yang energy, enhancing organ function, and improving the body's resistance to cold pathogens, it helps maintain the body's yin-yang balance.

As a traditional Chinese medicinal herb, Heishunpian has multiple functions and benefits. However, because it contains toxic components, it must be used under the guidance of a qualified TCM practitioner to ensure safe and effective medication use.
