Introduction
Kudzu root (Pueraria lobata) has a certain blood pressure-lowering effect. Drinking kudzu root tea may further reduce blood pressure in patients with hypotension, potentially causing symptoms such as dizziness and fatigue, or even serious consequences such as fainting. Kudzu root can also regulate blood sugar levels. Drinking kudzu root tea may lower blood glucose further in patients with hypoglycemia, leading to hypoglycemic symptoms such as palpitations, sweating, and hand tremors, thereby affecting health.

Generally, individuals with hypotension, hypoglycemia, spleen and stomach deficiency-cold, pregnant women, and those with cold body constitution should not consume kudzu root tea.

1. Patients with hypotension: Kudzu root has a certain blood pressure-lowering effect. Consumption of kudzu root tea by individuals with low blood pressure may further reduce blood pressure, leading to symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, and even fainting.

2. Patients with hypoglycemia: Kudzu root can regulate blood sugar levels. Drinking kudzu root tea may further lower blood sugar in individuals with hypoglycemia, causing symptoms such as palpitations, sweating, trembling hands, and affecting overall health.

3. Individuals with spleen and stomach deficiency-cold: Kudzu root is cool in nature. Consumption of kudzu root tea by individuals with spleen and stomach deficiency-cold may exacerbate internal coldness in the spleen and stomach, easily causing problems such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and indigestion, thereby damaging spleen and stomach functions.

4. Pregnant women: Due to their unique physiological condition, the components in kudzu root tea may affect fetal development. Additionally, the cooling nature of kudzu root may cause gastrointestinal discomfort in pregnant women and even trigger uterine contractions, increasing the risk of miscarriage.

5. Individuals with cold body constitution: People with cold body constitution are already prone to feeling cold and having cold hands and feet. Drinking kudzu root tea may increase internal coldness, worsening the cold condition and causing physical discomfort such as joint pain and fatigue.

Before choosing to drink kudzu root tea, one should fully understand their physical condition. If any of the above conditions apply, consumption should be avoided. A light diet should be maintained in daily life, avoiding spicy and irritating foods.
