Introduction
Under normal circumstances, it is not recommended to consume beverages such as soybean milk, cola, alcoholic drinks, honey lemon water, or strong tea when eating crabs. It is also not advisable to take medications including Compound Liquorice Oral Solution, Calcium Gluconate Oral Solution, Cefixime Granules, Paracetamol Oral Solution, and Loratadine Granules. It is recommended to eat crabs in moderation and avoid excessive consumption to prevent additional burden on the gastrointestinal tract.

Generally, it is not recommended to consume beverages such as soybean milk, cola, alcohol, honey lemon water, or strong tea when eating crabs. Additionally, it is not advised to take medications such as Compound Liquorice Oral Solution, Calcium Gluconate Oral Solution, Cefixime Granules, Paracetamol Oral Solution, or Loratadine Granules simultaneously. Detailed explanations are as follows:

I. Foods

1. Soybean Milk

Soybean milk is a high-protein beverage. Crabs are also high in protein; consuming soybean milk alongside crabs may increase the digestive burden on the gastrointestinal tract, possibly leading to symptoms such as bloating and abdominal pain due to indigestion.

2. Cola

Cola is a carbonated beverage containing large amounts of gas and phosphate. Phosphate may react with calcium in crabs to form calcium phosphate, increasing the burden on the gastrointestinal tract and being detrimental to health.

3. Alcohol

Both ethanol in alcohol and proteins in crabs need to be metabolized by the liver and kidneys. Consuming them together increases the burden on these organs.

4. Honey Lemon Water

Crabs are considered cold-natured food, while honey lemon water may irritate the stomach and spleen. Consuming them together may damage the stomach and spleen, causing gastrointestinal dysfunction.

5. Strong Tea

Strong tea contains large amounts of tannic acid, which can easily combine with proteins in crabs to form precipitates that are difficult to digest, thereby increasing the burden on the digestive system.

II. Medications

1. Compound Liquorice Oral Solution

Compound Liquorice Oral Solution is a cough-suppressing and phlegm-resolving medication. Proteins in crabs may increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract, which is not conducive to the absorption and effectiveness of the medication.

2. Calcium Gluconate Oral Solution

Calcium Gluconate Oral Solution is a calcium supplement. Proteins in crabs may bind with calcium ions to form compounds that are difficult for the human body to absorb, thus reducing the effectiveness of the medication.

3. Cefixime Granules

Cefixime Granules belong to antibiotics. Crabs contain abundant proteins, which may affect the absorption and metabolism of cefixime, thereby reducing its effectiveness.

4. Paracetamol Oral Solution

Paracetamol Oral Solution is an antipyretic analgesic. Proteins and purine substances in crabs may easily irritate the gastrointestinal tract; taking them together with paracetamol may lead to symptoms such as indigestion and abdominal pain.

5. Loratadine Granules

Loratadine Granules are antiallergic medications. Crabs are seafood and may easily trigger allergic reactions. Consuming crabs while taking antiallergic drugs may reduce the effectiveness of the medication and may also lead to exacerbated allergic symptoms.

It is recommended to eat crabs in moderation and avoid excessive consumption to prevent increasing the burden on the gastrointestinal tract. Also, always purchase fresh, lively crabs with intact and bright-colored shells, and avoid choosing dead or damaged crabs to ensure safe and healthy consumption.
