Introduction
In the non-pregnant state, the uterus is located within the pelvic cavity, positioned lower than the navel, between the pubic symphysis and the umbilicus. A uterus of normal size cannot be directly palpated on the body surface and must be examined via gynecological assessment to determine its exact position and condition. Directly below the navel is a region closer to the abdominal cavity; this area may involve the upper portion of the uterus, as well as other organs such as the intestines and bladder.

Generally, the area below the navel in females contains the uterus; however, the uterus is not directly beneath the navel. A detailed explanation is as follows:

In a non-pregnant state, the uterus is located within the pelvic cavity, positioned lower than the navel, between the pubic symphysis and the navel. A normally sized uterus cannot be directly palpated from the body surface and requires a gynecological examination to determine its exact location and condition.

Directly beneath the navel is closer to the abdominal cavity. This region may contain the upper part of the uterus, as well as organs such as the intestines and bladder. If the bladder is full or there is a buildup of fecal matter in the intestines, the area below the navel may appear swollen or present with a hard mass. These are not indicative of the uterus but rather normal or abnormal manifestations of other organs.

When discomfort or an abnormal mass appears below the navel, it should not be assumed to be a uterine issue solely based on its location. Symptoms such as menstruation and urination should be considered, and medical attention should be sought promptly for examination to determine the cause, avoiding self-diagnosis which may delay proper evaluation.
