Fruits that are not recommended for excessive consumption by patients with jaundice include lychee, durian, persimmon, mango, and pineapple. Generally speaking, there is no such saying as "three fruits that jaundice fears the most." Fruits not recommended for patients with jaundice include lychee, durian, persimmon, mango, and pineapple. Detailed analysis is as follows:

1. Lychee

Lychee has a high sugar content. Overconsumption can rapidly increase blood sugar levels and increase the metabolic burden on the liver. Additionally, lychee is warm in nature. Consuming large amounts may lead to excessive internal heat, which could affect spleen and stomach functions. Dysfunction of the spleen and stomach's transformation and transportation functions may indirectly impact the liver's function of free coursing, which is unfavorable for the recovery from jaundice.

2. Durian

Mango is a tropical fruit. Some people are allergic to mangoes and may experience allergic reactions such as skin itching and swelling after consumption. Allergic reactions can stimulate the body to produce inflammation, which may affect the normal function of the liver. Moreover, mangoes have a considerable sugar content. Overconsumption increases the liver's burden in metabolizing sugar, which is not conducive to liver recovery in patients with jaundice.

5. Pineapple

Pineapples contain bromelain, a substance that may irritate the oral mucosa and gastrointestinal mucosa, leading to symptoms such as oral discomfort, stomach pain, and diarrhea. Jaundice patients have a more sensitive gastrointestinal system. Eating too many pineapples may trigger gastrointestinal dysfunction, affecting the digestion and absorption of nutrients, thereby indirectly impacting the body's ability to resist and recover from jaundice.
