Introduction
Qingre Li Shi Jiaonang (Heat-Clearing and Dampness-Resolving Capsules) may have certain effects on acne caused by damp-heat or blood deficiency with wind-dryness. If acne presents with symptoms such as redness, swelling, pain, oily skin, constipation, and a yellow greasy tongue coating, which are indicative of damp-heat, or if acne recurs frequently accompanied by dry, flaking skin, which suggests blood deficiency with wind-dryness, the capsule's functions of clearing heat, resolving dampness, nourishing blood, and moistening dryness may help alleviate these symptoms.

Acne, generally known as pimples, may be alleviated by Qingre Li Shi capsule (Wetness-Resolving and Heat-Clearing Capsule) in cases caused by damp-heat or blood deficiency with wind-dryness. However, it may not work well for acne caused by other factors. If in doubt, it is recommended to consult a doctor in advance. Detailed analysis is as follows:

If acne presents with symptoms such as redness, swelling, pain, oily skin, constipation, yellow and greasy tongue coating (indicative of damp-heat), or if acne recurs frequently accompanied by dry, flaking skin (indicative of blood deficiency with wind-dryness), the Qingre Li Shi capsule's functions of clearing heat, resolving dampness, nourishing blood, and moistening dryness might help alleviate these symptoms. In such cases, use under a doctor's guidance may be considered.

If acne is mainly caused by endocrine disorders, bacterial infection, or blocked sebaceous glands, and does not exhibit obvious damp-heat or blood deficiency with wind-dryness characteristics—for example, isolated whiteheads or blackheads, or cyclical acne triggered by hormonal fluctuations—the Qingre Li Shi capsule may not effectively target the underlying causes, and its effects may be minimal.

Before using Qingre Li Shi capsule, it is important to identify the specific cause of acne. Blind use of this medication should be avoided. If symptoms do not improve after a period of medication, the treatment plan should be adjusted promptly to avoid delaying appropriate care.
