Can liquor and almond milk be consumed together?
It is not recommended to drink white liquor and almond milk together. Combining the two may increase the burden on the body, cause gastrointestinal discomfort, interfere with alcohol metabolism, and heighten the risk of physical discomfort. During daily consumption, moderation is important, and random mixing should be avoided.

Almond milk contains components such as protein and fat, while white liquor contains alcohol. Alcohol irritates the gastric mucosa, and the fat and protein in almond milk may slow gastric emptying, prolonging the retention time of alcohol in the stomach. This intensifies irritation to the gastric lining and can easily lead to gastrointestinal discomfort such as bloating and nausea.
From a metabolic perspective, alcohol must be processed by the liver, and the nutrients in almond milk also require hepatic breakdown. Consuming both simultaneously increases the metabolic burden on the liver. Additionally, the sweetness of almond milk may mask the pungency of white liquor, leading people to unknowingly consume excessive amounts of alcohol, exceeding their body's tolerance and increasing the risk of intoxication.
When consuming these beverages, white liquor and almond milk should be taken separately, with an interval of at least 1–2 hours. Alcohol intake should be controlled: adult men should not exceed 25 grams of alcohol per day, and women should not exceed 15 grams. Almond milk should also be consumed in moderation to avoid excessive intake of sugar and fat.
