Introduction
To ensure effectiveness, use AnTai ointment following standardized procedures, which generally include: cleaning the affected area, retrieving the ointment and its accompanying applicator, squeezing out an appropriate amount of ointment, correctly applying or inserting the ointment, and cleaning after application. Cleaning the affected area: before application, wash the anal area and surrounding skin with warm water to remove surface dirt and secretions, then gently dry with a clean towel.

Using AnTai ointment requires following standardized steps to ensure effectiveness, including cleaning the application site, removing the ointment and accessories, extruding the appropriate amount of ointment, correctly applying or inserting the ointment, and cleaning after use. A detailed explanation is as follows:

1. Clean the application site: Before application, wash the anal area and surrounding skin with warm water to remove surface dirt and secretions, then gently dry with a clean towel. This step helps reduce bacterial residue, prevents infection during medication use, and creates a clean environment for optimal drug absorption.

2. Remove the ointment and accessories: Open the ointment package and take out the tube and the attached applicator (if provided). Check that the ointment appears normal—without unusual odor, separation, or foreign particles—before proceeding. Ensuring the tools are intact helps prevent leakage or operational difficulties during application.

3. Extrude the appropriate amount of ointment: Align the tip of the ointment tube with the applicator connector (or prepare for direct application), and slowly squeeze out the ointment. Follow the instructions to control the dosage, typically 1–2 grams or the specified length. Excessive application may increase the risk of skin irritation, while insufficient dosage may reduce therapeutic effectiveness.

4. Correctly apply or insert the ointment: For external hemorrhoids, apply the ointment directly and evenly onto the affected skin area. For internal hemorrhoids, load the ointment into the applicator, slowly insert the applicator into the anus to the recommended depth, then press the plunger to deliver the ointment, and carefully remove the applicator afterward. Proper technique ensures the medication reaches the affected area effectively.

5. Clean after use: After application, promptly clean the applicator (if reusable) and allow it to air dry. Recap the ointment tube securely, then wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. These cleaning steps help maintain hygiene of the tools and hands, preventing contamination from residual medication.

AnTai ointment should be used strictly according to the instructions or medical advice. If discomfort such as local redness, swelling, increased itching, or pain occurs after application, discontinue use immediately and wash the area thoroughly.
