Introduction
After vaccination, to ensure immune effectiveness and bodily safety, several behaviors should be avoided, including leaving the vaccination site immediately, scratching or pressing the injection site, consuming alcohol or eating spicy/stimulating foods, engaging in strenuous exercise, and ignoring mild side effects by trying to endure them. It is essential to strictly follow these post-vaccination precautions, as they are all intended to help the body develop optimal immune protection.

After vaccination, to ensure immune effectiveness and physical safety, several behaviors should be avoided. These mainly include leaving the vaccination site immediately, scratching or pressing the injection site, drinking alcohol or consuming irritating foods, engaging in strenuous exercise, and ignoring minor side effects by enduring them without treatment. The details are as follows:

1. Leaving the vaccination site immediately: After receiving the vaccine, do not leave right away. You should remain at the vaccination site for observation for 30 minutes. Severe reactions such as acute allergic responses most commonly occur during this period, and on-site medical personnel and emergency equipment can provide timely treatment. Leaving early may result in missing the critical window for emergency care.

2. Scratching or pressing the injection site: There is a tiny wound in the skin at the injection site. Scratching or pressing it can damage the skin’s protective barrier and lead to bacterial infection. If redness or swelling occurs locally, scratching will worsen the inflammatory response and prolong discomfort.

3. Drinking alcohol or eating irritating foods: Alcohol may interfere with immune system function, affect antibody production, and reduce the vaccine's protective effect. Spicy or allergenic foods may stimulate the body, exacerbate possible post-vaccination symptoms such as low-grade fever and fatigue, or make it difficult to distinguish between food-related reactions and vaccine side effects.

4. Engaging in strenuous exercise: Avoid intense physical activities such as running or playing sports within 24 hours after vaccination. Strenuous exercise may increase blood circulation at the injection site, worsening redness, swelling, and pain. It may also impair the body's immune response due to excessive physical exhaustion.

5. Ignoring minor side effects and enduring them: Some individuals may experience mild reactions such as pain at the injection site or low-grade fever. Although these usually resolve on their own, they require close monitoring. Enduring them without intervention—such as failing to apply physical cooling methods when fever occurs—may intensify discomfort and disrupt daily activities.

The precautions after vaccination must be strictly followed. These guidelines are designed to help the body develop optimal immune protection. By adhering to scientifically recommended care practices, vaccines can work most effectively to safeguard your health.
