If symptoms occur frequently, last longer, or are accompanied by chest pain, dizziness, or similar issues, prompt medical evaluation is recommended.

5. Other diseases: Anemic individuals have reduced hemoglobin capacity to carry oxygen, making them prone to hypoxia-related breathlessness upon waking, which improves after eating or light activity. Thyroid dysfunction or metabolic disorders may also play a role.
