Introduction
After isopropanol inhalation poisoning, immediately remove the individual from the contaminated environment, maintain airway patency, provide oxygen support, enhance toxin metabolism, and administer symptomatic treatment to relieve symptoms. Prompt intervention can reduce bodily harm. If severe symptoms such as confusion, difficulty breathing, intense headache, or vomiting occur, seek immediate medical attention. Quickly move the person to a well-ventilated area with fresh air.

After inhaling isopropyl alcohol and suffering poisoning, immediate removal from the contaminated environment, maintaining airway patency, providing oxygen support, promoting toxin elimination, and symptomatic treatment are required. Prompt intervention can reduce bodily harm. If severe symptoms such as confusion, difficulty breathing, intense headache, or vomiting occur, seek medical attention immediately.

1. Remove from the toxic environment: Quickly move the individual to a well-ventilated area with fresh air, away from sources of isopropyl alcohol contamination. Loosen collars and belts, keep the body in a comfortable position, and prevent further inhalation of the toxin to avoid worsening symptoms.

2. Maintain airway patency: Position the affected person in a semi-reclining or sitting posture. Clear secretions from the mouth and nasal passages. Encourage coughing up phlegm if present to prevent airway blockage and breathing difficulties.

3. Provide oxygen support: Administer supplemental oxygen promptly if signs of hypoxia appear, such as cyanosis of the lips, chest tightness, or shortness of breath. This helps improve oxygen levels and reduces damage to respiratory and lung tissues.

4. Promote toxin metabolism: In the absence of contraindications, encourage drinking moderate amounts of warm water to increase urine output, aiding the excretion of isopropyl alcohol through the kidneys and preventing toxin accumulation.

5. Symptomatic relief: For dizziness or headache, allow the person to rest quietly and avoid physical activity. In case of eye irritation, gently rinse the eyes with clean water to relieve discomfort.

After symptom relief, ensure adequate rest, avoid fatigue and strenuous exercise, maintain a light and easily digestible diet, consume more vitamin-rich foods, and refrain from alcohol consumption and exposure to irritating gases to gradually restore normal bodily functions.
