Introduction
Cold uterus (gong han) can be self-managed through keeping warm, dispelling cold, adjusting diet, moderate exercise, maintaining regular作息 (daily routine), and emotional regulation. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after self-care—such as severe dysmenorrhea or menstrual irregularities—prompt medical attention is necessary. Focus on keeping the abdomen, waist, and lower body warm; avoid clothing that exposes the navel or short skirts. During menstruation, apply a hot water bottle to the abdomen and avoid contact with cold water.

Uterine coldness can be self-managed through keeping warm, dietary adjustments, moderate exercise, regular作息 (daily routines), and emotional regulation. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after self-care—such as severe dysmenorrhea or menstrual irregularities—prompt medical attention is necessary.

1. Keep warm and dispel cold: Focus on keeping the abdomen, waist, and lower body warm. Avoid clothing that exposes the navel or short skirts. During menstruation, apply a hot water bottle to the abdomen. Avoid contact with cold water to reduce the invasion of cold into the uterus.

2. Adjust diet: Eat more warming foods such as ginger, red dates, longan, and lamb. Limit raw, cold, or chilled foods like ice cream, cold beverages, and sashimi, which may stimulate the uterus and disrupt blood circulation.

3. Moderate exercise: Choose gentle activities such as walking, jogging, or yoga to promote overall blood circulation, relieve blood stagnation in the uterus, strengthen physical health, and enhance resistance to cold.

4. Regular daily routine: Avoid staying up late and ensure sufficient sleep. Late nights can damage yang energy and impair uterine function. Maintaining a regular schedule supports the recovery of bodily yang energy and promotes uterine health.

5. Emotional regulation: Maintain a cheerful mood and avoid prolonged anxiety or depression. Negative emotions can disrupt endocrine function, leading to poor blood flow and worsening uterine coldness.

For daily care, consistently soak feet in warm water, preferably with added ginger or mugwort leaves for enhanced effect, to help dispel cold and improve meridian circulation. Also maintain personal hygiene to prevent intrauterine infections, and protect uterine health through careful daily habits.
