How is Bai Mai ointment?
Bai Mai Ointment is a classic Tibetan medicine topical formulation, with core functions of relaxing tendons and promoting circulation, invigorating blood flow, and removing blood stasis. It is suitable for conditions such as limb numbness, joint pain, and restricted movement caused by Bai Mai disease, as well as neck, shoulder, waist, and leg pain and soft tissue injuries. It has definite effects in improving local blood circulation and relieving muscle spasms. If allergic reactions such as skin itching or redness and swelling occur after use, or if symptoms do not improve, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention.

Its main ingredients include natural herbs such as turmeric, nutmeg, and valeriana jatamansi. Curcumin in turmeric exerts anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects; nutmeg helps warm and unblock meridians; and valeriana jatamansi relieves muscle tension. These components work synergistically, penetrating through the skin directly to the affected area to produce localized therapeutic effects. The medication is highly targeted and particularly effective for discomfort caused by chronic strain and rheumatic arthralgia.
Before application, clean the affected skin area. Apply an appropriate amount of ointment evenly as directed by a physician, and gently massage to enhance drug absorption. Treatment duration should be adjusted according to the severity of the condition. During treatment, keep the affected area warm to avoid aggravation from cold exposure, avoid strenuous exercise and excessive stretching of the affected area, maintain a light diet, and refrain from spicy or irritating foods to support recovery.
