Treatment may include cefuroxime axetil tablets, roxithromycin dispersible tablets, and ofloxacin otic solution, per physician guidance. Keep the external auditory canal clean and dry, and avoid water exposure.

4. Ménière’s Disease

Endolymphatic imbalance and hydrops of the membranous labyrinth damage inner ear vestibular structures and impair otoconial adhesion, leading to recurrent episodes of otoconial displacement-induced vertigo. Under medical supervision, medications such as betahistine hydrochloride tablets, flunarizine capsules, and hydrochlorothiazide tablets may be prescribed. Reduce dietary salt intake and avoid fatigue, known triggers for symptom exacerbation.

5. Vestibular Neuritis

Viral infection-induced inflammation of the vestibular nerve impairs vestibular function and disrupts the inner ear environment, predisposing to otoconial detachment. Treatment may include mecobalamin tablets, acyclovir tablets, and dexamethasone tablets, as directed by a physician. In refractory cases, surgical intervention—such as semicircular canal occlusion—may be required.
