Asthma is a common chronic inflammatory airway disease characterized by airway hyperresponsiveness, making the airways prone to spasm and constriction upon exposure to external triggers, thereby causing symptoms such as wheezing, chest tightness, and coughing. This condition tends to recur; however, standardized management can effectively control the disease. Frequent wheezing impairs breathing—prompt medical evaluation and intervention are essential for accurate diagnosis and timely treatment. Asthma development is often associated with genetic predisposition and environmental triggers, including pollen, dust, and cold air.

Maintain a clean, well-ventilated living environment; avoid exposure to dust, strong odors, and other irritants; dress appropriately according to ambient temperature; engage in moderate physical exercise to strengthen overall health; and consistently support respiratory health to sustain airway stability.
