These tests help detect anemia or underlying hepatic or renal dysfunction, providing insight into systemic physiological function. Preexisting chronic conditions may indirectly compromise the quality and success of conception efforts.

5. Urinary System Ultrasound: Ultrasound imaging is used to visualize internal structures of the testes, epididymides, prostate, and seminal vesicles. During the preconception period, men should maintain regular sleep-wake cycles, avoid tobacco and alcohol, minimize exposure to high-temperature environments and ionizing radiation, consume a balanced and nutritious diet, avoid chronic sleep deprivation, and actively optimize their overall physical condition to enhance sperm quality.
