Highly corrosion-resistant and comfortable to wear, it commands a higher price than conventional alloys—making it especially suitable for patients with metal sensitivities.

4. Zirconia ceramic: The leading material for all-ceramic restorations. It provides high strength and lifelike aesthetics closely resembling natural teeth, contains no metal, and eliminates the “dark line” issue at the gingival margin. Its superior esthetics make it particularly appropriate for anterior restorations and compatible with MRI examinations—though it is comparatively more expensive.

5. Precious metal alloys: Include gold-based alloys, offering excellent ductility, precise marginal fit, minimal gingival irritation, and superior comfort during wear. They demonstrate outstanding biocompatibility but entail higher costs. Typically reserved for fixed crown restorations, their clinical utilization remains relatively limited.

After receiving dentures, maintain diligent oral hygiene: remove and rinse them after meals, and soak them overnight. Schedule regular follow-up visits for occlusal adjustments to prevent food impaction and reduce risks such as gingivitis.
