1. Chronic cough and sputum production: Chronic airway inflammation persists over time, resulting in frequent coughing. 4. Diminished respiratory function: Impaired alveolar expansion and recoil hinder effective gas expulsion. Ventilation and gas exchange efficiency decline, leading to accumulation of metabolic waste gases (e.g., CO₂). Even minimal exertion causes fatigue and dyspnea, and breathing becomes shallow, rapid, and irregular.

5. Generalized decline in physical condition: Chronic hypoxia compromises systemic oxygen delivery, progressively impairing cellular metabolism. Daily stamina declines steadily, accompanied by fatigue, weakness, reduced appetite, and a sustained decrease in immune resistance.

In daily life, avoid environments with dust or irritant gases, and consistently practice gentle respiratory exercises. Maintain appropriate warmth during seasonal transitions to prevent cold-induced respiratory infections. Adhere to regular sleep-wake cycles and a balanced diet to sustain baseline pulmonary respiratory function.
